Sunset over the Indian Ocean

During a long weekend trip to Darwin, I took a sunset boat cruise from Cullen Bay.

We sailed along the city’s coast until sunset, munching on appetizers, drinking wine and chatting. At sunset, the crew uncorked a few bottles of champagne, and we drifted for a while, just enjoying the sunset and the cool breeze. I shot this photo just before the sun went down, looking out over the Indian Ocean.

I took this photo in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia in May 2010.
